CHACONNE IN "K" EXISTENCE - SERGEY UMROYAN (URMIA)

There are many chaconnes written in the world, both in the baroque era and in modern times, and it continues to develop. Our chaconne is based on the Chaconne in C Minor BuxWV 159 by the genius baroque composer Dietrich Buxtehude. This modern ballet electronic music was written from scratch according to the laws of chaconne, which is a new approach in the world of music. This composition is the first dance and ballet experience of the composer Sergey Umroyan.

According to him, the most important thing in each of his works is the structure: “In my creations, especially electronic works, I work with precise structures. I did not spend much time creating the first composition (which was not originally planned to become a ballet performance) for this ballet, as I have a lot of practice with experience in classical forms.
